This playlist features remixes by ccMixter for the Emergence Remix Event. ccMixter artists created a themed sonic installation for the Grand Opening of the ArtLab in San Diego.

Emergence reflects inter-connectivity, synergy, and the way in which unique systems develop from specific environments. What happens at ccMixter is a genuine example of “emergence” in action as parts are recombined to create entirely new wholes.

All musical styles are welcome, but a special set of remixes in the style of tech-house, deep-house and downtempo were requested.
