This is my personal journey for the past 25 years, told through poetry and the sky.
———— Only Mars by Madam Snowflake Tonight under cloud-veiled stars only Mars Is visible. Glowing red overhead, The old warrior scoffs “I will purify you!” But bitter is my resistance And anger rises from me Like summer heat Fueled by memory When Saturn returned, I was Joan of Arc. My beauty framed on the wall But with screaming feet I lost all sense of ground. Black Moon Lilith was sacrificed. Then Decades of digging Gripping the spade Blisters and splinters Dirt mixed with blood “If I move fast enough it won’t hurt…” Burdened by unrefined iron Oblivious to shadow, “No, I can’t feel my feet.” Wandering As the fool Praying with Melodies Played on piano keys Only in the long expanse Of tourmaline darkness Did the luminescence Of Venus appear Reflecting silvery softness Alongside her sister, The moon. Mars Transmuted By alchemical grace My voice is a song My Instrument, a wand Music, as magic, Transforms fiery metal Into dawn. ————————-
