susan, there are no apologies necessary for this awesome creation. even rushed you deliver a creatively clever, divinely inspired, ultimately entertaining production! i LOVE the lyrics and your delivery. excellent combination of source. your backing vocals are tastily placed. of course we’d love the stems :)

Thanks Em. You know what I’ve been up against — fate, and spirits too apparently. :)

What I left out for the sake of brevity was the story of the indoor jacuzzi down in the bowels of the basement… .creeeeeeeeeepy!

You did a fantastic job for the limited time you had. Really psychedelic production. Nice use of the samples.

Thanks my friend! I’m just sorry Haskel was sick because I would have loved to have his guitar chops in here. Oh well. Next time. :)

headnodding track, really cool mixing SackJo22. Sounds evil! It’s like a storytelling (indeed it is, since you don’t use your singing superpowers), with a very cool base. For a “quick work”, it rocks

Thanks. Glad to hear that your head was nodding! That is the desired response!

Cool ^ ^ Dunno what it is about February, but it holds some grundgy sounds ^ ^ and I love your story song, casual but with a sense of deepness, and a sexy timing with the music

Haha my favorite part… to save eennerrggyyy

The music you conjured up from Coruscate’s mixography is solid. I love the casual storytelling vibe too. Of course, this will be perfect for Halloween playlists in Oct. You might want to add ‘Halloween’ tag? I think this is Great!

Thanks Donnie! So glad you dig it! And the Halloween tag is great idea.

I really like this take on the instrumentals from Kaleidoscopic Visions, and I’m with everyone else that stems would be awesome! I’d even remix it against the original for my own audio tastes 8^)

Glad you like it! I always wait with bated breath to hear if my assigned mixter enjoys what I did with their source! Uploading stems now. Have fun!

This is incredible Susan! Seems like something David Lynch could make use of for film..appropriately disturbing.

A story song from the third floor. Nicely kept Coruscatey. I especially like your vocal delivery here.

I’m so excited that my mix inspires you! I’m uploading the stems now. I uploaded my original source (dry) but if you want any of the cuts I did of Coruscate or effected stems, let me know. I’d be happy to share those as well.

Ummm… Whoa. This is awesome, Susan. Seriously. The production is top. You’re a wonderful story-teller. Are you familiar with the spoken word poet Nicole Blackman? This reminds me of her… a definite compliment in my book. Anyway… Whoa.

This really captures the helter skelter of the business traveler’s life, filled with sound, the unhandled and unmanageable inputs of far too much data.

Is the hotel haunted? May be, but the traveller is too consumed by the sounds of the city to give it more than partial attention.

I love this one. Your smooth and structured voice goes along so well with the hardness of the track and creates a lot of tension at the same time. So even if your not native speaker and don´t understand everything you have to listen till the end. And even again. Great work, Susan!

You are apologising for THIS??!! It’s amazing Susan. The close-up and conversational tone really drew me in. Kind of simultaneously intimate and disturbing, like early Laurie Andersen. I love it.

I repeatedly listen to this, with fantastical thinking that the second chapter will occur. Love this. Maybe you should record more in this half-scripted, half-improv style.
