Thanx RT!

.
George thank you for reminding me in such a great way that even dance music in the hands of a master can be a wonderful thing

RT!
Like Hermes, beloved messenger of the Gods - and also a cosmic “prankster” your music always arrives with a message. It’s been a treat to listen to your offerings and be a part of them as well! Your pieces span the gamut of human themes: poetic, romantic,social-commentary,happy and sad - themes spanning genres. Thank you for this bit of unbridled cheer and its great to be in such good company. Look forward to more of your singular creativity in 2009! |
.
In life one is lucky to find originality and goodness at the same time. So for that a special thank you!

For someone who says he’s not into Christmas you are sure showing a lot of love, and why not ?
Mask slipping a little RT ? You cant go soft on me now said the actress to the bishop. Wishing you an inscrutable Christmas RT. LS |
.
Love is fleeting but music stays forever in the soul!!
The actress also said “Is that a tuning fork in your pocket or am I really gonna have a lousy Xmas!!” |

You’re a good kid, RT. Best wishes for the upcoming holidays and for the new year.

It’s been a long time since someone called me “kid” so I’ll take that as a very nice complimentary Xmas gift:O)

oh lord, I had tears streaming down my face. Thanks for finally answering “are you or are you not crackers” too! More people should really adopt that Dick Van Dyke warbly style.
|
.
I had the good fortune once to meet Mr Van Dyke and it was a pleasure. He was a gentleman if not a very good performer of the cockney accent!!

LMAO.
Merry Xmas to you my twisted, twisted mixter friend. : ) |
.
“Twisted mixter friend”. I like that!. It has a certain ambience about it that makes me feel all Chubby Checker!

almost a spit out my coffee good moment this morning. :)

At the price the coffee shops charge that would be a serious waste of good money in these beleaguered times!

Hug accepted! My spirits are trembling on the shelf in the corner knowing they are going to be seriously abused in the coming weeks!

multi-bravo, RT, for the concept, the phrasing, & the courtly gesture!
|
.
The human voice can be a magical thing on the players stage. The likes of Orson Welles and Richard Burton had it. Not sure if your fat or Welsh but you certainly have it!!:O)

Hey RT, very monty python! Great idea and Merry Christmas dude. Love the the dirty old santa ending. Go easy on Tiny Tim you may just scare the Dickens out of him. |
.
In my review of one of your first mixes I told you to slow down the output (I know “I” did say that!).
Thank God you didn’t listen!! Wonderful music whatever the style. So a big thank you for that! |

The idea for this awesome idea and remix is totally great. If I had your adress, I_d write you a nice christmas card to thank you for this.
Really great idea (as most of your offers!) :-) |
.
Thanks Joe! I hope we can hear more from you in 2009 as you have the touch and you need to share it more!

Gor-bleshew RT!
(At first, I wondered what the cause of such uninhibited snorting/guffawing was, from just upstairs… just now I have discovered the source, and partaken thereof!) |
.
You’re welcome Mr D!
Looking forward to more of your fine inventive mixes in 2009 |

Beyong the good musician that you are, i’ve often felt in you someone with a strong character, sometimes impulsive, but finally with a great heart. You show today that this place is not only a simple community of musicians, but more a community of friends that the music brings together. Thanks for this Christmas present, it’s very touching..and..Joyeux Noël mon Ami..

.
“strong character, sometimes impulsive, but finally with a great heart” Wonderful and very accurate comment there DD.
Thank you mon Ami |

you big ol’ mush!!! Thanks for this most lovely of christmas cards. And yes, it almost cost me a new keyboard, too!
|
.
You are very welcome and many thanks from me for all the work you do here at CCM. How about a few more mixes though!!
|
|
.
My remixing studio was out of commission for a few weeks due to my big move across the Rocky Mountains. Since a couple of days ago, things are plugged in again, and I’ve begun to twist a few dials and press some buttons again. Hopefully not too long until the next little bit of public noise from me. :-)

Thanks radiotimes! This is a great. I really like your singing voice. You should add it to more of your remixes. A bit Bowie-esque.
|
.
Many thanks for your wonderful uploads that have given me lots of pleasure to work on.

Thanks RT.. even if this was just a cheap gimmick to get a whole lot of comments (oh calm down I am only kidding :-))… it is another fine example of the spirit of this community .. in a world full of cynicism and ill will, phony-ness and gloominess.. this place is one of genuine creativity, good humor .. and dare I say it even a bit of love. Have a very Merry Christmas RT and the happiest of New Years …
|
.
Well of course in a way you’re right. When I put this up I did think I wonder how many people will respond and comment and I’m very appreciative for those who have! As you say despite the fact that most of us have never met there is still a bond of friendship between many of us.
Merry X HNY and good health from the highly commented child!!:O) |
|
.
Yea yea yea…:-) And also had to mention that of all the avatars you’ve had since you got here this one is hands down my favorite .. and it got the stamp of approval from my 13 year old daughter .. and that’s hard to come by so pat yourself on the back old timer ;-).
