This is really good stuff.
It has a slick and mysterious vibe. I could easily visualize this one on prime time tv (CSI Miami, Numbers, etc) or any other hip detective show. Kudos gentlemen…… |

Yah, that opening blew me away, almost a spagetthi moricone sound, but almost. Plays very nicely after shockshadow’s Alive and Kicking…
the only thing i didn’t like was the background, at times it sounds like you’ve made this while there was some neighbours radio still playing somewhere. In other words, IMHO, that humming on the background don’t mesh well with the rest … Guitar loop and vocals are mad crazy cool! |

This is timeless…a lot has been said about it and I’m not sure words can do it justice.
I can’t get enough of it, melody is perfect and goes tremendously well with vocals. Lyrics have deep meaning and can be interpreted in various ways. This is poetry =) |

If you analyze this song carefully there is a lot of deep, hidden meaning, which is what makes this song great. Also props to anyone who can make out what this song is truly trying to get at.

You know it’s been exactly 11 years since this song came out. The first time in 11 years for this day to be on a Sunday. It would have been 9 years since I found out about it. The lyrics in this song has helped throughout my life. It made have hope when I was down, realize my struggles weren’t unique. It made me work harder on many aspects of my life. It propelled me to do better or make better in my situations. Even when there seemed to be no hope. This persistence eventually helped me evolve into a person that had an unparalleled determination.
I hope anyone reading this going through a struggle unpacks what is said in the words and uses it to make themselves better. Happy January 28th! |

It’s been another year since this song came out, and since I’ve posted this message. I read my last years message and the sentiment still stands. It is only through adversity there can be growth and recognition of abundance. The prior struggles I had helped shape my philosophy and prevented me from becoming relaxed. It was only now that I realize that my prior troubles helped me persist.
I hope anyone that ends up reading this makes sure to not only learn from their mistakes and persist but to consistently stay focused on what the end has to offer. Happy January 28th! |

The sentiments I’ve had still stand with me. I’m still too lazy, and apathetic at times but just as determined as ever. Well, 2020 was quite the year… For the first time in a while I can say I’m content, it’s like that pressure to be someone I wanted to be dissipated as I got closer to mydesired goals. My long time physique goals are approaching, as are my intellectual goals. It feels like once these eclipse I’ll be right where I want to be and I can proceed with the second chapter of my life. A chapter I’ve thought about for the last decade. I’m near the first finish line and it’s a feeling I’m not gonna forget. Happy January 28th!

2021 was a unique year, I got into Medical School, made new friends and moved to a different state for the first time in my conscious life. Most importantly however, I’ve felt like my own man for the last year, like I’m fully in control and with that comes no excuses and full accountability. It’s scary. Will I succeed in my goals, and reach the level of controlled I’ve strived to have my whole life? Only time will tell, and in a year I will be back here, seeing if I passed my test. I feel like the last couple of years I’ve coming closer and closer to the person I’ve always wanted to be. This year I feel like I’ve gotten to where I want to be. I have the mental control I’ve strived for, the people I love in my life are closer than ever and I am only getting better. Every time I have faced adversity recently I made sure it make me better. I believed in doing so I would get where I wanted to, and in turn I felt like I’ve only gotten better and my experience is a testament to that. With every year comes new lessons and reflections. While I am happy with who I am becoming it’s important for me to remember where I stand in the grand scheme of things in this world, individually. It’s also important to note that rarely big action or movement results in change usually it is the cumulative effort of many small decisions that lead to the evolution or desired change that I seek. I want this year to focus on decisions that have lasting impact and push myself to be a better person and have more standing in refrence to the future. I suppose we shall see in a year if my dreams or goals come to fruition, with that said… Happy January 28th!
