Stellar job- something about the banjo reminds me of a certain Paul Williams song ;-)
Honestly, this is a great treatment; different, while still supporting the thrust of the vox.

Thoroughly enjoyed. Love the gentle touch and the power of the arrangement.

It’s much less waltz-y than I expected. For some reason that’s what I was expecting. Not that I’m into waltzes or anything. I guess it’s just the 3/4 of it.

Clever use of the tempo here which betrays your orchestral prowess.

Well done!

Brilliant arrangement. There are some really lovely moments. I tried this pella and gave up—-only mention that because I think rather than trying to force it into something inappropriate (my effort) you have written a piece of music that fits it perfectly.

Fantastic mix, OD! It’s stuff like this that makes me hate “real” composers/arrangers :-). All the choices you make pulling something like this together. Sure the feel dictates instrumentation to some extent, but still, it’s something darn special that gets this out of the hat when a naked pella goes in (sorry shannon, hope I didn’t embarrass you :-) ). Thanks for another gem OD.

I’m not embarrassed, I’m just glad that my naked pellas get noticed :)

there’s something anthem like in here that keeps on building. By the end I feel like I should be joining in the chorus while slowly waving a cell-phone :-)

Wow! So glad you put your paws on this one. It reminds me of Carole King on a hit of acid.
Fine work :)

A true masterpiece of composing and executing production.
Among all the great remixes on ccmixter this tune really shines and shimmers a bit more!
Fantastic and stunning work!

Yep, this has the essentiality of the feel and the groove. Although it reminds me of some early sixties stuff that had a slightly different sound. Don’t go temptin me like that, oldDog!! Super mix. Woof!

Wonderful musicality and production. Reminded me of some of the best tracks by Aimee Mann in the Magnolia sountrack - only sharing a comparison - the signature of this is really nice.

This is a classic! The music shows (imho) a fantastic sense of melody and the instrumention support it with the perfect colour, blue. Where’s my kleenex!
