Just Beautiful!!! Big sounds and directness to it (i edited this because first i said tenderness, but that is more of how i experience it cause i feel recognized as someone who agrees totaly with what is said), while the end is explosive. Very balanced sounds when combinated with Ben and Sparky. I love the orchestration and i will certainly check out the vst you mentioned. It realy sounds like a real orchestra. Very much like this one!!!

Just incredible, hats off to you. The orchestration is amazing and the whole thing sounds just epic.
I very much had Mastodon’s “Crack the Skye“ album in mind writing this - using movements or sections rather than verse/chorus repetitions and discordant chords etc.
I couldn’t have imagined it would turn out this good with yours and Ben’s help.

I’m afraid I didn’t bring your original concept any closer to Mastodon, but now that you’ve mentioned it, I can hear where you were aiming.

I’m interested to learn of the Mastodon inspo (“Oblivion” was a standout for me from the album you mentioned). I would have previously guessed Spiral Architect-era Sabbath, which in some ways Zenboy’s orchestration nudges it slightly closer toward.

Fantastic! I love listening to this sort of evolutionary collaboration. Really well done.

Also - historically, I would be super excited to have three connected sets of samples I can play with to see what I could come up with mixwise. Unfortunately, my most recent prescription’s main side effect is lethargy (mentally and physically). Not as scary as what you went through, and I’m so glad you did get through it, but still, inspiration is intermittent at best now. Bit of a bummer. (But a steady heartbeat is nice compensation.)

Bummer, indeed! I remember your field recording from a gurney. Big Pharma is a double-edged sword. Time is our real culprit.

Overall, I like how you carried this forward. I especially like that french horn part!
