WOW. now this is what i’m talking about teru. thanks for pointing me in the right direction and finding this. like you said, the elements are minimal but are hardly effortless. just a very beautiful treatment of c. layne’s fine vocals and victor’s excellent guitar.
you are the king my friend. |

You just made my Gen X heart smile! Why wasn’t this an Ed Pick?? *glares at editors* Radio-ready, talented and without a doubt among your best efforts. Nostalgically reminds me of my New Romantic/80s phase, but still sounds fresh and distinct. You’ve officially become my artist of choice for mellow road music! This would also be excellant for a dimly lit evening of wine and love. Just fantastic. Utterly fantastic.

Holy snykees! Why isn’t this a Editorial pick?!!! I just found this looking thru the remixes.
Sounds like a Depeche Mode track, like someone wrote in this thread, an 80’s influence that is richly modernized, dig the way everything is layered together, love that bass line and the way it is interwined with Fourstones’ fine finger picking. The vocalist, C.Layne, does a great job evoking emotion in the listener with his vocals. If I had the connects, this would be the next James Bond theme song, (Haven’t seen the newest one, but sometimes the best thing about those films is the song, and this song screams to be the soundtrack to something) or on the soundtrack of an Oscar worthy film. Haunting, incredible work. |

Terrific. I wouldn’t have come across this if not for MCJITB’s new feature of older tracks - and I’m really glad I did.
Beautiful ceaseless droning of guitar and vocals blending together. I love it. |
