Has an outside looking in quality about it (or is it inside looking out) that I can relate to. A bit melancholy and ultimately peaceful. I like it.

Deb, you well captured a summer night feel. Good mix of Gnark.
Noticed that you don’t have a secret mixter tag. Let one of admins know so they can group your submittal with the event. |

Cograts for your voice, debbizo, i think it is lovely. Your remix is very interesting, i enjoyed it. My town in the night has a similar atmosphere, but i miss the crickets section :D Great work, a fresh mix

What a fantastic remix Deb! I love how you worked with Gurdonark’s source material and integrated your voice. Great atmosphere that feels like a busy beach boardwalk with so many different sounds and characters. Absolutely lovely. Bravo!

Chinese lanterns on a dark, cool night with the planets serving as shining fifth wheels among the roll of the constellations. A speaker here, a whispered voice there, over there a speaker emitting a dance beat. The sound of water, the sound of a pool cue breaking a triangle of billiard balls, the pound of distant thunder accompanying heat lightning. The roar of a diesel truck, the thrum of a leopard frog, the cicada hiss of Summer.
I love the pastiche approach you’ve used here. The spoken words work very well here to give a form to the void of my various samples. Great job! |
