“Got it mixed, baby” - just about sums it up. That remix with pitx was always one of my favourite acoustic pieces on the site, and it feels completed now.

thanks Admiral. all i can say is i got out of the way and allowed this to happen. it felt like channeling, and i loved spending the time with Joe’s playing and voice.

A lot of unexpected turns but they work really well. I guess this week has been unexpected turns. I really like the orchestral arrangement, the guitar work is great, and your vocals were very emotionally delivered and received.

i was surprised at myself as this combination and mix went down - my mind was wondering how the heck it would all work. but somehow it seemed right, and each section went right into the other one with no thought. i dragged the section in protools and where it landed, it stayed. love his clarinet playing — had been sitting on that sample of Geese for a while. you’re right about unexpected turns this week.

thank you Colab. i wrote down all of the Joe’s words to Lost (a remix FPB did with Copperhead) and this is what came out without thought. i felt connected to Joe while I was singing.

Thank you for sharing your words and this piece. The movements are powerful… the way they intersect. Beautiful tribute. I love that you brought out Joe’s humor at the end. A touching reminder…

thanks Kara. the intersection is unusual, but it wanted to happen that way. almost like i was just a puppet and had no say in the matter. thanks for your kind words.

It’s always fun doing remixes with multiple parts. It seems to always go in it’s own direction and you can’t fight it :)

This is well put together and has some nice turns. This would have taken me 2 weeks lol. Please don’t tell me it took a day :)
