Oh man, this is great with all the elements fitting perfectly together. That’s why you are one of my favourite ccmixters. Great musical ideas and quality execution merged into some of the best music around here. The downside (and ofcourse there is always a downside) is that music like yours is making it pretty hard for me to come up with something decent. ;-)

This is a great track. Will you upload the stems of the track, so we can remix it? (Too lazy to download the samples and cut loops and shrink…)

Gorgeous, chilling, and an excellent, lush mix for the vox. Fantastic

I like it, especially as you play with the musical tension. The right instrument at the right time and together when required. A true pleasure. Congrats for this.

stellar work - yet again! - and well caught as pick. You’ve made yourself a really fine musical home in this hybrid neighborhood. At least I’ll always be able to say, that I knew you before you became famous! :-)

stellar. well deserving of all the accolades. just a great framework for Colin’s words. the strings, pads, vocal drones are exceptional for building dynamics and tension in the mix.

I love that moment when the lights go down and the movie music begins. In the cinema, sounds are more than ideas or trends, they propel me into a world that exists on a 2-D screen, but which capture me and draw me to places I wish to live forever.

Here the lights are down, and I await the animation—but the animation is all in the sound. The screen is a John Cage of closed curtain, and yet the sounds of vox and melody pull me into a film as surely as subtitles and camera booms might.

The percussion and the strings and the swells and the voices and the sound of one’s thoughts ticking like a clock taking the pulse of a modernity we none of us understand, but wish to see soundtracked, “ticket please”, settle into the seat, bring on the popcorn—and a universe of celluloid dreams.

The blending of elements here is masterful—and the rich ideas you bring to Colin’s rich spoken word track is a marriage made in Heaven—or the movies.

This remix seems completely ready to be put into a film soundtrack.

I am surprised that this site hasn’t been “mined” more frequently by filmmakers.

Possible has much feeling and passion. I have found myself to truly enjoy the tracks here using spoken word as this one uses Requiem. It is amazing how such a crazy quilt of different elements can work so well together, bearing entirely new timbres/soundscapes.

When I originally started throwing material into CC Mixter, I never expected such volumes of creativity and inspiration. I love that what I put out there ends up completely transformed into something else. Possible isn’t a derivative work, I think it is entirely fresh and new.
