Whoa.

Sr. Privado;

That was so simple and oh! so beautiful! The subtleties…first rate. It’s versions like this that make me wish I could play piano and/or guitar. The plainitive quality of this song is powerful and quite transforming. Why does this version make me cry? Is it the folkiness of it?
God, this is embarrassing…

I bet you can learn. I wish I could sing like you man!

… and here you just expressed the reason why I love your music and I love ccMixter in general: here, you (and I mean everybody) are not afraid of expressing real feelings. That is what makes music an art. I don’t like commercial radio music because most of the time you listen people that sing beautiful, but that’s it. The interpretation of what they are singing is missing.

Thank you for sharing your song and your love!

Beautiful! - and it’s the magic of ccMixter to bring these two styles together.

Yep, that was something that crossed my mind while doing this. I have no idea how this type of style blending and colaboration can happen outside of ccMixter and without Creative Commons - I mean, I know it happens, but I bet is very, very hard.

I am glad you like it!

Aye Cabron! Fantastico…this is my favorite Songboy3 remix yet. Two disparate styles melded into perfection. Great job!!

There are two types of guitars here. One is a regular Spanish style guitar. The other is a cuatro.

I am glad you enjoyed it!

Wow, wow, wow …

I love the guitar work, and who’d have thought those two styles would work so well together?

This is just wonderful.

Not only a fine mix but a testament to what the net do. You get a vocal from New York and place it in this entirely authentic setting.

Contact me any time to swop production notes :-)

Yea no doubt this is one really neat mix. There’s something in the style, while you say what it is, that reminds me a little of African guitar as well as the obvious Latin feel. Subtle and beautiful, and fantastic to hear real virtuosity. Great work.

Sr. Privado,
I am so lucky to have seen your new remix and come to check out your work. This to me feels like Duende embodied. Beautiful, wonderful, amazing, fabuloso! This is amazing composition, production and blending of styles. Anytime you want to upload samples, they would be greatly appreciated and used. Keeping my ears open for more.
