wow, loving this!! great funky intro with the zappa-like vocals and arrangement. outstanding production on this. clean, polished, and everything is executed to perfection.

Thanks everyone for all your kind words. MC Jack in the Box, Pitx, Dokashiteru etc you guys rock.
Most of my tracks are bit rushed (I don’t have much patience “finishing” a track, get bored with it and move on) - but this ones a little different. The challenge of completing something pertinent made me sit back and think about the construction & the production more than I would normally do. 6 months ago I would only finish 1/10 songs, resulting in a huge scratchy personal back catalog that showed promise but was basically unlistenable. Now I’m spending some time revisiting some of these to see if I can “polish a turd”. Cheers! |

Thanks RJ, the guitar solo is me on my Godin midi gtr. Its one of the few times I’ve played the thing “live” in one take without fiddling around with the midi data afterwards.
The Godin plays better than my old Taylor (different though). The Taylor had to be retired after some chick vomited into the electrics at my 30th birthday party. Never the same again, neither was I ! :( I was wearing it @ the time… |

great vibe and production. Sit down and polish them all, if this is the result!
melodyne, I use it not only for voices, but also on bass, trumpets and the like, most people use it only as autotune to correct unpitched vocals, I am so happy that someone else is using it creatively. The vocal impact is amazing and captivating. Finally, the words, with today’s happy end, can be shared and remind me that 16 years ago I wrote a song called “I dream of a black president” and now this dream has come true (I’m white). Champagne! |

I think the whole world breathed a collective sigh of relief yesterday. I guess the world really is in Obama’s hands. Now its up to him to deliver the promise. A stirring speech whatever side of the fence your on. Its up to all Americans now to knock out the remaining palings of that fence and unite. PS doing a fair bit of turd polishing lately with my “back catalog”, hey if i can’t buff it up, I’ll just cover it in glitter:) |
