Hi oldDog, always interesting to hear what others have done with an acappella after you’ve done your mix. I didnt want to listen to the other mix of this acappella before doing mine ;-)
We used it in two very different way. But this vocal kept its beauty.
I like the mood introduced by the piano, the simplicity of the song. Cool ending too. I enjoyed this very intimistic mix. It’s like being in the same room than you, playing piano and SilviaO singing…

achingly beautiful! The piano playing is supportive, yet memorable, and the vocal track treatment is spectacular in an understated sensitive way. A masterpiece!

You tricked me. I was trying to remember the night we met at your studio while you played and I sang. It´s really nice the warmth this mix gives. Minimal but delicate and beautiful… just as butterflies.

Wow man you really nailed this one :) OldDog doing what he does best, composing the most beautiful and subtle piano to fit with such a compelling vocal.

I love the vocal re-tunings, I’m not so terribly keen on the processing on central vocal, I’d rather it sounded less chorused, a little more like the other harmonies, but that’s just my preference.

That piano arrangement is awesome though, did I mention that? lol :)
