HE’S BACK! I knew you couldn’t let the summer go without a glossy slab of funk like this.

I always think that the best thing about cigarettes was the cigarette advertising. The commercials and print ads all portrayed a world in which this song might live—a sophisticated yet earthy world in which everything is smooth, and everything is rough, and it all fits somehow together. I’m one of those people who never smoked anything, externally nearly completely bland, but I always understood the magic of people who listened to jazz in Newport, with a menthol in hand, or rode ranges of impossibly Montana proportions with a pack on the horse and a pack at the ready. This mix is packin’ a chill groove with a leisurely and yet boisterous bass end, with the drums drumming up a new wave of good feelings for the perfect blend that is all tobacco, no filter, but never causes cancer or surgeon’s general warnings.
Smooth, effortless, a potent blend.
You have a gift for getting a hip-hop piece connected back to its roots, and yet throwing new tendrils out in interesting directions.

Effortless sound belies the fact that this is a magical trip through the genre and an example of how things should be done.

Very nice!!

glad to see you posted a new remix. infectious beats, and i’m totally digging that rhodesy sounding keyboard and sub synth bass combo. and you frame the pella so effortlessly, although obviously alot of good effort went into this. nice to see you tossing us the high pro bono again :)

I am not so often online here at the moment, but I don_t know, I surfed just a minute among the new remixes and found this.
I immendiately felt completely infected by this. I can_t believe what I hear. Isn_t this one of the smoothest tracks/beats/grooves/chords ever heard here? Yes it is. This is something I always dreamed of to produce one time whenI was more in the HipHop thing. You show some very impressing things musically and productionwise.
From the first second on I had a melody for another instrument in my mind while listening and the more I listened I had a new arrangement in my mind.

Just to ask kindly, is there a possibility to have drums, bass and rhodes as separate tracks for download??

It would be more than awesome!

But despite of my wish, this is one super hot track DJ Lang. You are the man!!
