Thanks man, not sure if I ever had a listen to some of your work till now, but just having heard your unbelievable work on “Dragon Feast”.

I would be very curious how somebody with your sample/puzzle skills made a remix of this material. But for sure i would feel honoured:-)

Wow, I’m loving this, it’s got a great 90’s R&B feel to it. I love the drums that you put on it as well as the piano. With stuff this quality it’s a shame you don’t post on here more often!

Got to this late, because I’m traveling at the moment. Tight and accomplished production! The groove has a nice feel combining precision with almost feeling live. Interesting chording to bring the bass lines more together with the vocal melody and harmonies. One of my favorite parts are the little breaks which keep things interesting. Especially the one where the rhythm section drops out, really adds a nice dynamic tension!

Thanks Spinmeister!

Well, as I only had a mastered instrumental stereofile of this old track (can_t reconstruct the original because of lost data :-( ), there was nearly no chance to make more variations for the arrangement. Well I could have done it, but there is still another unfinished remix waiting.(starting with an A..)I only have to decide which of my ten versions I should develop now ;-).

Thanks again for your nice words about ancient tracks :-)

P.S. Even if you are on the road and traveling it is good to know that you are mostly “online”!!

Hey George!

Thanks a lot!

I have a look from time to time on “engelvoicerecords” to see how things are going. When can I read “CD is out now” instead of “coming soon”, eeeh??. I am gonna to purchase a copy when it_s done.

Till soon “Master of Dancefloor”

Hey cdk!

Thanks for stepping by! I was really in trouble if you wouldn_t find some “off beat” things in here :-)! But everything seems to be ok!? Have seen that you did upload a lot of tracks since my vanishing. So please give me a day or two for listening your latest stuff.
And feel free to re-remix this track if you like, because I know you will do an exciting job here!

Good evening RT!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Always nice to get a comment from you. I can_t promise it, but I will try to “feed you (with more stuff) baby”.

As for cdk, I ask you for one or two days for having a listen to your latest tracks.

Thanks again and take care!

Wow, great stuff Joe! I wish I had ten year old stuff lying around waiting to just drop into a remix :-). Hats off to Jose, that is some serious bass playing. You did a really great job with this even giving a little bit of a live/improvisational feel to it.

I know how you feel being away from the remixing… I’ve got one haunting me from my storage clip as we speak (well virtually anyway) hopefully it’ll see the light of day soon.

Keep ‘em coming!!!

And good evening essesq!

You are too kind, thanks for the uplifting comment! I will inform Jose about your “critics” ;-)
Funny thing, I have sent him a notification for this upload. We hadn_t contact for a few years and he called me yesterday night to tell me, that he also likes what this track has become. He could remember very well this ten year old session. And he gave me his ok for further collaboration if required. That_s good news!

As for the being away from remixing, I have been busy on different things, but still have prepared though a few remixes….. coming soon.

And I hope your next remix will be surprising as the last ones. I will be waiting for it.

Thanks again and all the best for you!

What a love about the Joes mixes is they remind me of my UK search many years ago for the West coast sound. Gino Vannelli, Bill Champlin, Robbie Dupree etc.

Thats why i love his sound and this mix.

I wanna say thank you very much for this lovely comment and feel flattered that this remix reminds you on so great musicians as I am a huge fan of these mentioned artists too.

Good to see you back here and I hope there will be more exciting stuff from you soon! :-)

Very cool and enjoyable - a little magic going on to bring the track and the pella together as if they had always belonged!

Hey oldDog!

Thanks for stopping by and your nice words about this remix.
Sometimes you have the chance that “old” and “new” things go together well ;-)

This is a great solid R&B tune, lots of soul put into the backing! While much soul isn’t my listening taste, this remix definitely does some serious justice to the pells. Nice work.

Thanks also for your comment on this remix. I will forward it to my former musical mate who played the bass here. He will be pleased a lot as well as I do!
