Very nice. Reminds me of a metal rock take off on on the band Renaissance circa 1978.

WOW I love this! One of my weird little goals when I joined CCM was to be mixed into a metal song, and I can now count that goal as met. What a great, wonderful piece. I appreciate the comparison to Tarja Turunen as well, what a voice she has!

Thanks a lot! The goal to be mixed into a metal song is not that weird. :-)

This is so good, at first I thought it *was* Nightwish, and had to double-check and to be sure it didn’t need moderating.

I’d like to see more mixter metal as well. I think one thing that would really help with that is more heavy guitar/bass/drum stems.

Our of curiosity, did you mic amps for this track, or use effect software?

Thank you!
I’ve used the Behringer V-Amp 2 (virtual guitar amp). Later I only made some EQing with Cubase during the mixing process.

Cool, some very nice tones you have going on here.

I just started a thread today to find out who all is using such processors, to see how effective it would be to encourage people to upload unaffected guitar (alongside normal tracks)

Never got a chance way back to say that I liked this song a lot. So I took it to the next level of Metal so if anyone is into the heavier stuff you can check out my remix to this.
