I’m already a fan of colab’s work. Naturally I was super-pleased to be assigned to remix his work for the Secret Mixter Mix. Decided to revisit his “Fall To Pieces” bass lines and clean guitar riff. The idea was to create a sort of extension to the “ Twilight” series. After I was happy with the overall arrangement, I mixed in several drum tracks (from GarageBand loops); recorded a lead guitar (tried my best not to drown out his bass riffs). I hope this mix works. My apologies to colab if it doesn’t. Personally I’m pleased with it the overall effect, although I’m not entirely happy with the ‘sound engineering’. But definitely had fun.
