Myxtery - Tell us vox
uploaded: Tue, Dec 16, 2008 @ 9:14 PM
This was originally written in response to Pitx’s beautiful flamenco guitar son Myxtery:
Tell us: Such a sad song you sing, sir Of world far and long gone away Filled with castanets and windmills The air spice heavy and tasting of honey Do the stars shine there, sir? Out there where you’ve been Is the night dark like this closet Smelling of death and sin? Tell us where you’ve been Did you feel the sweat drenched skin Under desert skies of lavender and gold Did it bake you into nut brown souls Earthbound and old Shall we hold hands and sing, sir? Sing of times past, of wonderous might have beens Of sealing wax, and kings Tell us where you’ve been, sir Sing me my dreams Show me your sorrow Let us lie here together, eyes closed And feel the endless mystery Tell us where you’ve been, sir Sing me your dreams Show me my sorrows Let us lie here together, eyes closed And feel the endless mysteries.
