I originally wrote these lyrics when traveling in Europe. I was on a train going from Paris to Florence. As we exited the city, I was struck by the image of the tenements which looked like post WWII construction.
AFTER THE WAR After the war we’re gonna build more efficiently lose the meaning for revival and surviving We’ll find everything we need After the war After the war Foreigners in camoflauge, along our borders define our pardons and our loss Under the electric moon we’ll make love, well make love After the war After the war We’re gonna have a cultural exchange so when you threaten us next time, we’ll have your strength We’ll find everything we need After the war I apologize for the clipping on the vocal mix in the last verse — I will try to reup something better soon. Also, I could not, for the life of me, get the effects of the stems — I hope this does not render these stems totally useless for remixing.
