You should have added some deeper bass sounds to drive the piece more. There we are technical analysis over. Back to cleaning my guitar strings with my favourite socks! Foot sweat is very good for them and brings out a brighter image especially on the low E and A strings. Oh yes and congratulations you are the proud recipient of my 500th review! An old pair of sweaty socks is in the post. You do play guitar don’t you??

My main problem in production is my lack of patience :) (thats why - this time - no bass) Give me more than a couple of hours and I’ll generally get it right or I’ll just wait by the letterbox for those sox of yours (the smelling salts effect or the slide on the strings will help). Yes I do play the guitar and I’ve found it quite difficult using a sock. Like Ms B says; its like playing the piano with mittens. When I take off the sock it really sets the G string alight . Maybe u could try, if u are in the mood of course, a version of this mix with a bass, just to see how would it sounds… But anyway this is a nice job!

Another great mix Scomber, nice to hear rap on a bed of rhodes and guitar.
