Thanks Mr Lang. You are right about the strange pairing.
Its all about mixing it up on the Mixter (esp this time of year - like my drinks). Peace dude..

I think you probably know that just about everything you produce is very good quality stuff so I am going to go technical on this one!

You should have added some deeper bass sounds to drive the piece more.

There we are technical analysis over. Back to cleaning my guitar strings with my favourite socks! Foot sweat is very good for them and brings out a brighter image especially on the low E and A strings.

Oh yes and congratulations you are the proud recipient of my 500th review! An old pair of sweaty socks is in the post. You do play guitar don’t you??

Thanks RT. My main problem in production is my lack of patience :) (thats why - this time - no bass)
Give me more than a couple of hours and I’ll generally get it right or I’ll just wait by the letterbox for those sox of yours (the smelling salts effect or the slide on the strings will help).
Yes I do play the guitar and I’ve found it quite difficult using a sock. Like Ms B says; its like playing the piano with mittens. When I take off the sock it really sets the G string alight . Better go..
Hey thanks for your 500th!

S, love the synth work in this mix. Im a fan of synths and arpeggiators!!! and u did a really nice work with the synths in this mix. Maybe u could try, if u are in the mood of course, a version of this mix with a bass, just to see how would it sounds…

But anyway this is a nice job!

Its the Wizard of Oz (this is where you tell me your from NZ and the accents don’t sound the same, but to the rest of the world, it just all sounds ‘Australian’).

Another great mix Scomber, nice to hear rap on a bed of rhodes and guitar.
