It’s a real thrill when someone else who sings (especially someone whose songs you admire) takes the time to listen intently. I hope you are really enjoying your travels!

Lush, modern, and spacey. Your mellow
cello brings a nice organic feel to this.

yea, the cello lines are a really great addition. I have no problem making an effort to meet a piece of art halfway and this track is definitely worth it. cool.

(note to self: get my cello back from Dad)

There are certain glitchy sounds that irritate me in this mix as they just feel out of place.

Other than that i think its a superb piece with a Bowie type delivery and suits your unique vocal style.

I miss a little more definition on your voice and think the arrangement stops and starts a bit too much .

But well done to you and DJ Rkod a progressively well executed song/mix.

Wonderful, when you voice comes in it all comes together for me, such a lush sound. I’m really impressed. My ipod has so much good stuff going on it tonight!
Excellent.

It’s good to hear you two collaborating beyond the Open Music project. Anchor’s fantastically unique (or uniquely fantastic) voice and more glitchy madness from DJ Rkod. I like it!

After a long trip through the last remixes here that I have missed since last week, I am now here to listen. This sort of music has a quality to separate my mind. I like mostly the arrangemnt ideas and especially the musical ideas in the second half, like the chorus of your vocals or is it just an echo of yourself? ;-)

I dig that cello playing, but I feel a little irritated about the repeating core theme of the reversed string melody. For my taste a bit too much. But that_s only me. Not necessary to mention, that I am a fan of your vocals that add an extraordinary touch.

J - thanks for braving this one and for all opinions, well received and respected too (I might add).
You know the first time I heard the backing music, I thought “wow, all these electronic glitches and reversals are not exactly ‘pretty’ are they?” -It was a great challenge to add some kind of antithetical mood and softness to the ‘music’ with cello and harmonic space vocals. Thanks for your support and interest in my personal artistic (if somewhat autre) explorations!

Just like every one else i’m loving that cello. It took me a few listens to get this but after a few i did. The glitch sounds didn’t sit well with me at first, but after a few listens it fell in place.
I’m digging this.

Thanks J
I admit some of DJ Rkod’s music is complex…but like an interesting vintage wine it grows on you. It was a challenge, as stated, to bring vox and cello into it. Thanks for the thoughtful review.
