Ohhh… this is an excellent mix. It makes me think of this short story called “The Great Silence” by Ted Chiang (from his book ‘Exhalation’). It questions why humans strive to connect with other beings across the universe, while ignoring the possibility of communicating with nonhuman species on Earth.
