He stands, a little apart from the others, as if he was in a bar full of strangers, but in fact they’re known each other for decades. He seems as if he’s hesitant before each line, with his Pete Hamill intonation and that wistful look in his eye you can barely see as he glances away. But he’s got a one friend with a sure guitar, another with a well-honed horn, and smiling backing spoken word vocals that the kids in music school only dream of having.
The interplay of lovingly crafted musical sections, vocal samples and sung vocals makes this mix a warm, unique experience. An enjoyable, organic-feeling remix. |

As per my last review, this is a great track. The work of John Williams fits in really well with your vox and KCentric’s little snippets. I like the subtle drums too, they’re very quiet but keep a metronome like rhythm.
Anchor sounds great too. Nice job |

great remix. I love how you are highlighting some of the most excellent Magnatune catalog over the last little while. A wonderful thread winding through your work. This one is a particularly winning combination. p.s. There’s nothing wrong with a bit of geriatric music every once in a while ;-)

Would you be willing to upload just the song “It’s Only Rock and Roll”? I couldn’t find it in the samples. I love Anchor’s singing and all the clips in the mix, but “It’s Only Rock and Roll” has really got to me - it would be pure magic on its own.
