Love the boom-boom opening with the snakey flutes and pattering drums. You’ve mixed the samples brilliantly to create tension and an ominous feel which combine perfectly as a b/t for Martin Cee’s excellent spoken piece. Top-notch, P. xxxxx

Love the way the authority of the spoken words works with the backing track

Ah….I love the stereo effects.
The flute first in the back building a sound bed.
And the beat…man….

Panu, this is excellent : thank you ! The mix of instruments is magical : incessant, melancholic, uncertain, I like it very much !

For my taste I would probably have pulled the vocals back a tad to hear more of the backing, but thats just personal style.

And thank you also for your kind words about my sounds : a strange coincidence a couple of months back I was reading a long article about Skip Lievsay, the sound designer for all the Coen films. I couldn t find it again now, but there’s an interview here
thanks again
all the best

Very cool track panu, I don’t —
wait, Ciggi is back!?!!
AWESOME!
Sorry, panu, .. got distracted.

I don’t often love spoken-word tracks, but this is quite infectious.

Thoroughly engaging. You’ve created a backing track that supports the meaning of Martin Cee’s words and shines a light on their journey. Excellent mix, panu.

your colorful description of both Martin’s voice and music is right on! My mind tricks me into thinking I’m listening to Jack Kerouac with beats and rhythms. artful remix Panu!!
