Ukuambient? Out of curiosity, I typed the word on google and found this: http://www.ukuambient.com/ It’s innovative, dynamic, and I love psychedelic, beautiful, really beautiful mix. |
.

Wow, this sounds and feels fantastic. Maybe my favorite mayday mix. Really excellent.
|
.
Thank you, Speck. I have to say, you have been a major influence on me over the years… opening my mind to breaking down the restraints of genre and standard sounds. So thank you for that, too.

this is a BIG track Kara. your skills continue to expand and impress. this is phat, full and kick-ASS! deserves to be in a film like The Matrix and playing in underground clubs. excellent combination of source with perfect balance and polish. (that long pause toward the end is freakin’ brilliant).

.
Thank you so much, Emily! I’m touched by your kind words.

Really fun piece with some cool electro stylings. The ukelele and guitar parts are really a nice contrast. Bubbly and celebratory

This is great! Nice combination of reusenoise stuff and ukulele stuff. That’s a style I’ve played with a few times myself (well, using mandolin instead of ukulele, see for example this concept which I eventually fleshed out into a full track) and I love seeing other people do that sort of genre mismatching as well, ‘cause that’s how new stuff gets made!
|
.
Thank you kindly, Fluffy! I listened to your wonderful “Sliced by a Mandolin”… YES! Such a similar style! AWESOME! Thank you for sharing it. I love to hear others do this, too… so much fun.

Blowing out the windows of a quiet cafe in the middle of nowhere with a pocket full of quarters and a really odd but jamming jukebox. BOOM.
