i try not to write reviews of stuff i am not feeling, but this one is really offensively bad…plus yeah, it blatantly uses others work off this site without any reference to them. it’s so disparate, in an attempt to be arty i think, but it doesn’t work.
maybe it’s coz i’m missed out of this mix that i’m pissed about this. maybe not.
btw…i didn’t rate it, so it wasn’t me.
I don’t rate it. It’s lazy.
if it was done with a full list of the artists you’d sampled, as a more obvious homage, i think i would be more forgiving.

Hmm.. I am not defending , and not that CC needs any, I highly doubt that was CC’s intention.

Music, art, YMMV as always.

yeah it looks like one of the haters made the rounds…

There are a lot of good aspects to this track. I like the musical elements of it and separately each one had me thinking…"ok this is good now that it’s taking shape"…but then it went elsewhere almost as if you got bored with each musical section and decided to move on to another genre or song all within one track. If this was the concept it was a valiant attempt but I don’t think it came off as nice as it could have been.

I also heard quite a bit of stuff in there that I thought was sampled from other ccmixter ppl…other than copyright crimninals stuff, maybe it was listed on the sampled tracks list and I missed it. I’m not sure cuz I only glanced briefly.

Once the song gets rambling, it’s great fun. I hear Lisa’s voice in this one without a credit, which may require an attribution sample.

So many things in this. Quite a potpourri. I like multiple song blends like this one, and yet I imagine my favorite parts as medleys of but 2 or 3 pieces.
