Holy Fay Wray, he’s back!
Hotness, of course; although I don’t know whether to be happy to finally get some brand-new PCTBG, or feel like I shouldn’t bother trying to make beats anymore. …Naw, f- it, I’ll still keep trying. Maybe I’ll get there someday ;) |

Cool. Thanks for the good words.

Welcome back.
I like the way that the chords and the percussion go straight at the listener, and fit with the vocals. Those little glitchy bits are nice, too. The part that begins at 2:15 is a nice change. The jauntiness of the melody versus the “that’s when I popped him” makes the song both fun and chilling. |

A BIG thanks Gurdonark!!! A quick story on how a particular “cause” can have an unintended “effect”.
I decided to browse ccmixterblog to check out some threads and I ran across yours concerning the remix (or not-so remix) project Pieces, so I checked it out, downloaded the wavs and actually submitted a piece (no pun intended)a couple of days ago. That kinda got my remix juices flowing and I dropped by ccm (and was amazed at all the brilliant changes) and one thing led to another. I’ve been trying to get back to mixter for a while now, but it was never enough time or too many other distractions it seemed and all it took was an invite to something outside of my norm to get me going. The power of the internet I guess!!! |

That’s great. I’m glad that you participated in the “pieces” compilation. I’ve downloaded the sample, but I haven’t yet assembled a mix. When I post a message at the ccmixterblog, then I wonder sometimes if anyone will follow the suggestion—thanks for letting me know that someone did this time!
Now I’ve got to put my “Pieces” track together! |

Just for the record, my piece is probably too “musical” for the genre, but I went for it and the vibe was good at the time, I’m just not expecting too much. It was fun though and the creative concept flowed smoothly and quickly. |

omg using kasche was genius !!Yeah, the original groove was cool, but it was getting old real fast and needed some kind of change up. Quote: fourstones officially the loudest mix on the site lol Honestly, you should of heard the original export fresh out of Reason!!! Not often I “master” a song downwards. I swear it had to be because I was dealing with the flu and it kept plugging my ears!! LOL Either that or too much FM radio in my life these days. |
