That was fast! Really tasty treatment — a light touch all around that keeps lifts this track right up. Delicious!

Nobody said peace had to be dreary, right?

You’ve been treading new musical paths lately. Like you’ve found new influences. Is it that Alaskan trip? This is perfect contemporary pop. The production is so well balanced with Snowflake’s voice nicely in the center of everything. Really good.

Yes, as a matter of fact. I loved my trip, and what I saw was inspiring in every way.
I also got quite a longing for home, and between the two, had kind of a renewal musically and personally. |

Tasty! The lightness makes me think of Feist. This is great. Makes my head bop. Love the guitar bits, too.

Leslie Feist is one of my favourites!! Ever heard her version of “Secret Heart?” I just love that.

Yes- “Secret Heart” is certainly lovable. It’s wonderful to know that you’re a Feist fan… :D

I saw her at the airport once, getting off a flight. I knew it was her because she opened her case to check the big Red Guild to ensure it didn’t break. I was too flummoxed to say anything. :)

Hell yea! I really love everything in this remix. The groove, the rhythm, the solo guitar, the organ, the treatments. i wonder if you might want to turn my vox down 1 db? maybe i’m just sensitive to hearing myself so upfront (luckily i sang in tune!) it is great as it is of course. thank you soooo much for remixing me — this is so much better than i could have ever imagined when i wrote it!

I really worked at this, actually, trying to keep the vocal volume down. I reduced the dynamic range of the vocal with a compressor, and did some careful volume automation. I really couldn’t get all the words audible at lower volumes, and of course, its the words you wrote that this is all about for me. :)
Thanks for such tasty material to work with. It all kind of put itself together in a lot of ways. But that’s normal for your uploads. :) |

I listened to this 3 times and was side tracked on a review 2 times. This is really amazing AB and maybe my fav of all your remixes so far. I especially love the openness of the piece. The organ just sets the mood for the piece :)
Another amazing pell from Snowflake! |

very clean.
When I heard the original version, I had imagined a different remix. Your version is surprising! |
