A great development and lots of equally great sounds in this remix.

Henry Mancini would be proud of you for this mix, and I’m so very impressed. What a wonderful journey down memory lane!

Brilliant. Big fan of Apoxode and yourself so this is a real treat.

It’s a wonderfully cool and often eerie sound you got going here.

The balance is perfect

This is so cool. I will listen to the Ciggi version later but there is so much going on here. It is utterly fascinating to listen to. Thank you.

Mystical and very imaginative!

Absolutely wonderful!
You had me at muted horn ;)
I enjoyed every second of both mixes, excellent choices for accompaniment.
CiggiBurns adds a sultry layer to this jazzy trip hop, and robwalkerpoet gives a spoken jazz club flavor.
Each mix has a character of its own, the bass and horn sounding fantastic!
Thank you so much for including me in this remix, and for the back story of your process, very interesting in its own right :)

I am glad you like the track.
I hoped so and though I will catch you with the vinyl effect.
It was very much fun listening through your music and study what you like….and I found some nice samples I am going to use in the future for sure.

Very cool mixing goin on here! Kind of a psychedelic ASMR circus for the Love that little Pink Panther hat tip : )

I really enjoyed reading your process. I might go have a coffee myself now (and find some candy, though i don’t have any of the electric nature).

Rob’s vox are perfect for this carnival atmosphere, in an empty house. where the rhythm enters in the middle is pretty darn cool. this is quite a sonic journey!

(is that the pink panther theme on the bass? not sure that is public domain?)

brilliant. dude.

Hey Emily,
thank you for your review. Regarding the copyright: I have modified the bass run, but until I have confirmation from the copyright owner I have removed the sample.
Unfortunately the law is vague on “citing” an artist.
Once I got an answer I will handle things accordingly.

great production Apoxode Siobahn, magic duo, it’s absolutely great.
Bravo for the choice of your instruments, particularly soft and pure.
A progressive rhythm with addition here and there of fx notes and resonate keyboards, I love it !! finish with a gramophone breath, oh cooool …

Love it esp when it breakdowns in the jazzy bit. Great explanation !

I do like this. The magic of ccmixter: take one mouldy old poem of mine and turn it into something fresh and new!

The essence of THE PANTHER! very creative! if not copyright controversial slightly.. but WHO cares anymore? WE HAVE STEPPED INTO A LAWLESS/DYSTOPIAN SOCIETY… whilst queuing 2 metres apart just to buy a loaf of bread !

Thanks Rizkey. ;-).
Well I care so I have requested a statement from Universal but not heard back. :-(

I wouldn’t worry too much … if it goes against any infringements ? Then it would just be removed off site. I’ve had it done before elsewhere. Its not a major problem in the big scheme of things as the global landscape sits right now . Stay well and stay safe

Perfect head bobbing track from edge to edge!!! :)
I have missed Rob Walker’s voice and this was a great evocation of spirit and sonic charm. Well done!!! :D
