Truly a jubilant groove. Very nicely done.
I especially enjoyed the full Haskel version. |

Wow…that’s great! Thank you so much. I’m laughing because those loops (I think there were 5 of them altogether) were little projects I did while my daughter had violin lessons and I had just gotten Garageband so had access to Apple Loops for the first time (they may be after you for royalties :-)).
One of the best things about a Secret Mixter is when you see stuff done with work you did that you could never do yourself. The open ended jam session quality of this piece is something I could never hope to aspire towards. Lest I forget, thank you Haskel! I also like the way you chopped up my spoken pieces and the fact that you focused on the happy stuff and not the earnest stuff (lord knows there’s plenty of that). Thank you for making an old lady very happy this morning :-). |

Ahhh… I needed this positive boost! Listening in headphones is divine… love how the music supports essesq’s joyful words… your vocal adds are wonderful, and Haskel’s guitar is splendid… YES!

i needed to hear this message today. thank you for putting this forth, and thanks to essesq for recording her spoken word. Haskell’s guitar work is freaking brilliant. wow, it is bending my mind. how did you create the rhythm section? your combination of the two pells is wonderful, and your Joy and other backing vocals add subtle emphasis. a rich, wide mix full of sonic joy (no pun intended!). your mixing skills are showing ;)

Nice jam. I dig that interlude. I need a Haskel in my studio too. How does that work? Do you just come up with a good solid track and then turn Haskel loose and hit record? : )
