WOW! What a special blend of guitar and vocals. Those voicings together have some magical power. Haskel is an amazing talent as well are you. Should be an opening scene to a movie.

There was a serious face off with my limitations in this one, and honestly, I thought of you and your crystalline productions a lot during the process. There’s a whole lot to like about this mix. Too much to go into detail, mostly it’s just downright enjoyable.
Oh and - nice bass! I hope that’s in the stems. |

Wow this is great! So catchy. Great vocals, and Haskell’s guitar fits perfectly. Also like that you went with the ‘music connects us’ theme. Very cool to hear my stems reworked in a way that I would have never imagined.

That’s really nice of you to say Scomber because I don’t consider myself much of a producer at all — although I do work very hard and keep trying to refine my skills. I envy folks like Scott Altham who can quickly throw something together and have it end up sounding fantastic.

Great remix on many levels, music, vocals and lyrics. I like a lot your harmony vocals (not only here, in general) they always sound like mermaids singing and her voices stream over the waves…
I love to read your notes introducing the song and and finding the right words for ccmixters anniversary. I think this means something. Communities like these need persons who can care and hold things together. |
