Dang, for a moment there I thought I would have the booty-shaking remix for this event.

I concede to you, sir. Damn fine mix.

Haha, thanks! But let’s not get hung up on early returns, the night is young and Xena’s Kiss / Medea’s Kiss is fierce…

Glad you like it! I took a few liberties along the way…

Somewhat reminiscent of Canada’s Shuffle Demons, in combining fluidly elements of jazz and industrial without sounding incongruous at all.

Ha, nice. I suppose that might happen if I could play a *real* saxophone… Thanks!

Very cool jazzy saxy music for slippin’ and slidin’. Well done (and thanks for including the samples).

The samples may be artificial but they’re the best quality I could manage. The MIDI files should help anyone wants to take them further…

As if the “Stone Roses” used drugs and hired to sax players.
Unprecendented (to hear this sound created by you) and sooo freaking cool.

Glad you like, Siobhan. I’m auditioning sax parts for my virtual band to replace my old Sears Kenmore washing machine (sadly retired). Stone Roses? Wow!

Yassss…. thoroughly enjoyable mix. That sax is where it’s at. Slip-slip-slide on that ultra black ice! I’ve slid on my fair share… Vrooooom! (Ouch.)

Yeah, I owe you for the title, too, along with Mrs_Yesterday, who suggested it was a “holiday theme”…

Oh! Haha! How fun to have helped inspired the title. And props to Mrs_Y for the suggestion!

Damn that black ice! I tell ya’… once I fell on some right after my carpel tunnel surgery and where did I land? On my aching, healing hand, of course!

Rockin dance party at Mr Yesterday’s on Christmas Eve —drive safely and don’t spin out on the black ice! Perfect soundtrack for eggnog, DJs spinning under the tree with the band playing in front of a warm fire. Well constructed production and great use of remix source. I dig the ending!

Thanks! I have to admit your Die Trying was one of the inspirations (and not just because of the move_to_mars tag).

It started as a challenge to add a traditional kit sound to a lot of bass stomp and became a labor of love. Thanks, Scomber!
