Wow. Very sympathetic treatment of one of CG’s nicest melodies. Great build towards the chorus and well measured restraint at the right moments. Nice! Is that you singing backup near the end?

Thanks, Scomber! Nope, that’s not me; it’s calendargirl put into GarageBand and given the “female to male” treatment. Hers is by far the best-sounding result I’ve ever gotten from that treatment.

There is a wonderful peaceful flow in this one. I remember listening to something similar while travelling in Asia. It was a mellow night on a beach, a warm breeze blowing into your face while having a sip of your favourite drink and just enjoying the moment after a days boattrip on the Mekong River in Laos. Your song just brought back all those worry-free memories.

My favourite track from calandargirl and I have a few takes of this on my hd but never found them worthy to upload. Yours, however, has plenty of quality. Great mix!
