very nice mix with some nits: the bass plays a Bb and there’s a B in the melody around 1:40 — a harsh reach for everthing else going around it. also the when beat and vocal chopping comes in around 2:40, as quiet as it is jarred me nonetheless, I could have used a build up to that point instead of springing it out like that.

are you using the distortion tracks? if so you need to use ‘Manage remixes’ and mark you upload with that.

well in that case your mix seems to highlight some crackling in the second chord and the minor 9th in the intro in a way the original doesn’t.

np, I’ll nuke it then — fwiw, a musician I highly respect called that particular track ‘goddam awful’ so feel free to bump it to 2 lol

pretty interesting moody feel. not sure if it is just my monitors, but the vocals sound really quiet.

Superb Mix…I’ve been looking through to see who my competition is…you are sir. You stepped outside of the box on this one. Very nice!

I love this mix! I really like the glitchy bits. It really contrasts with the smooth vocals in a way that makes the two blend nicely. Sweet!

Nice reverberation on the vocals and bass.
Good contrast with the reverb and the percussion.
Near the end that click sound does a nice crescendo to go to each kick. Is that a modified snare sample?

I know I’m late to the party on this one - but bravo - great production and a great remix!

Really nice work! Totally pro production. I’m sure many major chill out labels would love to have this added to one of their compilation albums.

I’ve been listening to this a lot recently. Gorgeous, inventive, engaging, and inspiring work. I particularly like the palette of sounds (amazing sound design work), as well as the choices made in terms of filling melodic and frequency space - I feel like this maintains a really nice anti-hyped mood that I feel like I do not hear much. Wonderful. Kudos!
