This is a road-trip all the way to the horizon. If Jeff Beck and Kate Bush went catching fireflies together this is what it would sound like. Beautifully full of life!

Thank you! I ain’t gonna go there on the Jeff Beck thing, but yes Susan does have a lovely Kate Bush quality to her voice. :)

Ha! The mix, for me, grooves like something off Blow by Blow, with more of a blues flavor. Such great tones you grab!

I agree with spinningmerkaba. Not sure if you have an entire blues band or not but os sure sounds that way. Top notch remix.

The funky blues worked out well.

Susan and Admiral Bob wandering through the ice house chitlin’ circuit. Who’d a thunk it.

Great sound, great jam. You can tell all the jammers know each other very well. (And you can tell the guy on cowbell to back off just a scooch for me. ;))

But seriously folks - top notch.

I wish we are really playing as live as we all sound here! Thanks for for playing so joyfully (despite the minor blues) with me this time around — the groove totally keeps me moving. Terrific solor and your guitar tone is as delicious as ever. Bravo!

Thanks for remixing me. I just wanted to make sure to get that damn guitarist to turn down a bit so I can hear the singer :)

You’ve absolutely accomplished your intention, with perfect, funky brilliance. I know exactly what you’re referencing here (i’ve played with a couple guitarists that noodle all over my vocal while I’m singing, urgh). you’ve fit every sound into its perfect spot, making a cohesive, musical togetherness. i’d love to see this live (you’d have to be a hologram!). beautiful work Admiral. (that outro jam is extra special)

Listening to this one on the back of spinningmerkaba’s equally great remix. This really sounds good on my speakers (I should listen more over my speakers in stead of my headphones). Your playing is as always wonderfully executed.

Ohhhh… how about that funky, bluesy jam with massive soul?! Fantastic.

If you asked me, I’d say you did it.

Must say this is really sweeeet, the vocals shine. Mission accomplished!

Sounds like your generous, mellow lead guitarist also got a wireless rig and started wandering the house a bit after 2:56, nice pan work there. Listened a second time and got a second impression, like working backstage during a rehearsal jam, maybe between shows, no pressure, band relaxed, sound weaving in and out.

Glad I saved this for near last, though you get a really late review this way.
