first off, welcome and props for not getting pissy or frustrated when someone called you out on your last remix. i did listen to the first version, and that synth was off pitch and distracting, so it’s good you recognized that and acted on the feedback you got (even if it was pretty blunt…).

as for this, it’s a pretty straightforward interpretation with her source, other than the beats. there’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s always more “gee whiz wow” when you can take the source and really reinvent it somehow. but i’m as guilty of taking the straight approach sometimes, especially when the source is so good that it doesn’t need to be reinvented to be gimmicky to catch one’s attention. if there’s any constructive feedback to be given here, i’d say you could bring your beats down in volume a bit and bring the piano, guitar, etc up a bit to match them out more evenly. but your mix is clean, in synch for the most part, and nicely packaged this time.

Hi MC Jack. Thanks for the review and the feedback. I agree that mixes that add a certain flair do get a lot more attention. I just wanted to go for something simple because when I downloaded the source files and listened to the bass, I didn’t want to change it. Being a bass player myself I really wanted to include it and bring it to the forefront. Thanks again for the review and your feedback is appreciated.

Much Better! ;) I didn’t want to hurt feelings, so sorry if I did.

No problems Grizzly. The synth was way out of place. No harm done and any constructive criticism is always welcome.
