Ash is right definitely a Quincy vibe going on here…maybe some Mario Van Peebles as well.

Technically I think this is way above competent. I almost feel like I’m listening to Quincy Jones ‘back on the block’ period stuff. So from that point of view 10 stars. however, personally for me, it lacks edge. I have given it a 5, but that is only because it has sooo impressed me with the playing that i cannot give it a 3 which is about how much it actually moves me.
