i had similar thoughts. which caused me to reflect on the Harmony of our community here at ccMixter. “Unity through Diversity” — the pure and deep expression of the heart, through the universal language of music, is well, universal!

this “oneness” below even the subatomic level is at the core of all humanity i believe. as we spiral out from our connected core of the same electrons, protons, and neurons, the next layer of existence where we differentiate through religion, nationality, philosophy, gender, occupation, and language, well, those differences can never take away what at the core is the same.

this waxing and reflection caused me to reflect on the great tracks we all created together through the Music & Identity project too ;) i just feel so grateful that a diversity of people with a vast parameter of perspectives create together in tolerance and respect here at ccM. i hope that always happens here.

I respect your opinion. I just don’t believe that God takes “various forms”, I think man invents those various forms and creates a god that will satisfy their ends etc. The true God and creator of us all has never changed and I believe that He has shown great restraint and mercy to us over the centuries as we continue to rebel against him and make a complete mess of things down here. Man seems to be all about self interest and destructions, but, to me, God has proven throughout history that He is all about Redemption! But, again, I respect where you are coming from. And thanks for the compliment on the vocal etc.
