this is a cool mix. although my first thought upon hearing the intro was "metroid"!! not your intention, i’m sure
( admin: perhaps the magnatune tag should be hard-code-edly retired as to avoid confusion? ) |

There’s a million things I love about this mix. Thanx, glad you like it… :-) Quote: The chord progression is fantastic - it makes the song sexy rather than melancholy. Was not really my intention :-} Quote: So I know you joined the Mixter kind of out of necessity, but I sure hope you decide to upload more… I looked around a bit and I really like the concept and all. It’s more a question of time to do another one or post some vocals of myself. |

Thanx! And you’re right, never played or heard Metroid. Just looked it up in google. Do you mean the title theme? Ah, finally!
There’s a million things I love about this mix. The way it builds slowly and coaxingly instead of getting all crazy right away (saving the strings until the end…wonderful). The way you kept my vocals pretty much intact, and actually made them sound way better. The guitar parts. The chord progression is fantastic - it makes the song sexy rather than melancholy. So I know you joined the Mixter kind of out of necessity, but I sure hope you decide to upload more… Glad you shared this with me. |

no, it’s not your fault, it’s a ‘system’ tag and you should not be able to set it at all — I’ve been saying this forever and about everything else so I might as well say it again: yet another bug that’s been fixed in our new version of the site which is currently in beta. I like the beat and mood of this one. The mix is quite professional sounding. The vocals mismatch in a place or two, but only very rarely. The percussion sounds a bit mechanical after while, and might benefit from more variation. But this is solid work—a pleasure to listen to and hear.

Slow, sexy and soulful. You somehow have taken Lisa vocals to another level. Great production and awsome mix.
