Beautiful. I’ll confess to a little bit of dread when I read what the song was about, as I kind of wanted to avoid sadness in music for the next little while (I think it’s hard on the soul sometimes.)

To my great delight this is a song full of life, joy, and hope! How this must have lifted the spirits of your friend’s family and loved ones.

As a liturgical musician, I’m often called on to do funerals. I hope you don’t mind if I add this to my repertoire?

And congrats on the original ed-pick. That doesn’t happen a lot.

dear Mr. Lang. I am so completely flattered that you Ed Picked this track. 2 of my 3 Ed Picks (including this one) were by you. it is a pretty cool thing, getting ed picked, especially by someone with ears and chops like yours.

we as an admin team have had a bit of discussion about to be honest, because it was a pella, not a remix. after a few chats about it, fourstones suggested that Ed Picks need to be remixes, because, well, they are titled that way! so, we decided i should ‘un-edpick’ this track, to keep it pure.

with a heart filled with gratitude, I hope you will Ed Pick something else in its place (at your convenience of course!)

thanks and peace.

ok, well, i tried to un-edpick it! what we all thought would do the trick, well, doesn’t. so, i guess this little song shall remain an Ed-Pick for now. apologies for the confusion!

This is beyond good an you are so amazingly talented. This piece is just fantastic and I love everything about it. The vocal is so heart felt it hurts and the guitar is just as brilliant. I am going to have to dive in on this. I just have no choice .
Sorry I haven’t been around lately. But I had to poke my head in and I am glad I clicked on this.

So sweet, this moves effortly through the air, like falling leaves to the ground, then tooken along by the wind. Just beauitful to watch unfold.

Does it sound odd to say that your voice gives me huge satisfaction? It’s like biting into something you know for sure is going to be delicious. When I start listening to one of your songs, I know that sheer aural pleasure is assured. This is beautiful, Emily. xxxx

I just hop on mixter and listen to some pellas to see what either works well with something I’m writing or something sung so sweet I want to put my own music to it and many times it’s without logging in. What I completely forgot about after uploading my mixes.. to rate the dang pells! *forehead slap*

anyway, awesome singing here

Another gem found by chance.

Not much to add as my peers have said it all just to say that you have created light from darkness.

Thank You!
