The pacing throughout this remix is excellent, imo. Poetic and musical.
BTW, have you given Audacity (open-source) a try? I find it user-friendly and feature-packed. There’s a ‘Reverse’ feature under the Effects menu. |

Cheers Ivan!

The reverse treatment, the image, and the poem are the ingredients of this beautiful musical track.
I am very proud to belong this time to your musical world. The play tells a story, and I thank you for creating it. You have done justice to the tracks, thank you for the tribute you gave me. See you soon |

Merci beaucoup, mon ami.

I like your “greatest hits” approach and the way the sections fit together. The vocal works very well, and in particular the vocal fx enliven the piece. Nice job.

Thanks. You know how much I dig your stuff. Any compliment from you is valued!

Dark and cinematic, with a hint of speck to it, and lots of melodic order pecking at the chaos of the reverse sounds that kick it off.
Here’s a tip: if you want a tool to complement GarageBand, one that does all the nitty gritty impossible-in-Garageband editing work, while GarageBand works as your assembly building…. download Audacity. Audacity is free and can do just about anything to any sound. You’ll wonder how you got by without it. :) |

Thanks Bob - and I’ll accept a comparison with speck any day!

Not have thought about translating POEM into the peroral thing.
But what I thought and looking forward to was a new poem from you. Erm…you know what I mean. And this reverse engineering “until you are left with a blank page” fits into a discussion I have with a developer of AI Algorithms about how computers learn to produce better art then human artists (soon) |

Thank you!

I like how you transformed the music and made your own arrangement, then how apt the words are. Excellent concept and implementation.

This mix sounds like a lab for robot reconstruction. Words thoughts and beats piled up on the table while space gnomes weld together new devices to serve in the quest. You wiped the hard drive with this one! Nice work.

start with a fragment. yes! that is such a reflection of my Secret Mixter process. i love the dark vocal treatment — ads such mystery that magnifies that music. the source is wonderfully woven together and the production is clean, spacious and artful. i keep getting pulled in deeper and deeper by the variation of sound, word and rhythm. some of my favorite work from you Rob!!!!
