Ivan, you rock! I have a thing for robotic women. Check my “Robot Girlfriend” reading. Great use of the samples, making for a muscular mix.

I missed that upload of yours. Cool. The stems and the various remixes of it certainly has a place in my (imaginary) Anime series. Perhaps a subplot of a slightly stressed out office executive, who wants to drop everything and go to moon with his new robot girlfriend. :)
Glad you liked this version. I would have thought it’ll be boring, since it’s essentially unchanged from the Torque remix. BTW, just to give you a heads-up — I intend to star your very excellent “ Prism in the Ether” in yet another non-existent Anime film, tentatively titled “Trouble in Neo-Nagasaki”. :) |

Thanks for the heads-up. I’ll definitely be interested in hearing how you mix the Prism. You should send some of your ideas to various Anime producers :)

Robot women’s eyes pop out and dangle on springs at inappropriate moments. That’s what I’ve heard. xxxx

Excellent track, CC. Really enjoyed listening and would be perfect for a scifi film. What is love, anyway? xxxx

I remember when I heard this pella for the first time thinking it was quirky and light.
With the staccato bass, pads, and rollicking guitars, you’ve transformed it into a work of powerful angst. Now that’s a powerful thing to do in a remix! |
.
Come to think of it, ghg’s lyrics already had that angsty bits. I suppose love always has that hidden undertone, like “light and dark”, “day and night”, “war and peace”. Maybe that’s also saying that behind every trash-metal rocker (not that I’m one) is a saccharine-coated poet, heh. Thanks for listening and comment, Richard.

Hi Ivan - re the question in the title - if they didnt, they do now! agree with the admiral that you take the sugary vocal and make something with an edge.

Quote: urmymusere the question in the title - if they didnt, they do now!Heh, good one :) I was thinking of Philip K. Dick’s seminal work, “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” when thinking of a suitable title. After I posted the track, I wanted to re-title it “Do Avatars Fall In Love”, cos that’s more consistent with the current social media world. But guess I’m too much of a Bladerunner fan.

This is badass Ivan, and my favorite of the series. I think it brings together all the themes in the series!
