Your emotional honesty goes straight to my heart. Your vocal performance is stellar and perfectly expresses the lyrics. Your courage is also palpable. An incredible song. Beautiful Kara.

Nice Track Im relating this to Mother Earth speaking as im desensitized, broken and broke always wondered why people say RIP isn’t a rip also mean broke or broken?. Im Inspired for living in the moment listening as the sun rises. Thanks

Touching. Sweet melancholy. Optimism and depression coexisting. Nice upright bass too. The bowed bass is one of my favorite all time sounds. (I was hoping for more of it.)

.
Thank you, Speck. I am SO with you… absolutely love the bowed bass sound. It could use more… hmmm…

If you were here with me right now I would give you a big hug and not let go until you had not choice but to wiggle away.
Very expresssive performance of a tender song with a bridge of hope. |

How sweet! Thank you so much, Susan. I promise I’m okay… writing this type of song is how I get through… and I always hope it helps others somehow…

Beautiful melancholy tinged song by your usual and unmistakable kind. In headphone, the bass who accompanying you here is of excellent sound quality, (the dragging fingers are present) I like in particular …. Very good collaboration.

Thank you for your kind words. I’ve had pleasure of recording Jack’s bass with him… it’s a beautiful instrument and positioning the mics just right was a fun process. I’m glad you appreciate the sound quality!

I missed this one because I’m still not getting notifications of new uploads by you. Grrrr. It must be a plot! Anyway, I got to hear it through Key’s fantastic mix, thank goodness. Another outstanding vocal and concept from you.
