Nice mix, good use of effects and a natural sounding partnership between the vox and your mix (albeit eary :-).
Are some of the layered beat timing mismatches intentional? |
.
Well, I don’t know. There some intentional weirdness. If you mean drums, yeah a bit. I wanted it to be “loose”. But I won’t put away ineptness either:)

Interesting story about the voice. I ran away with the gypsies once but after two days they all ran away from me! I’ve lived in houses ever since but still like a nice caravan!
Like the use of the sounds in this with their wrap around feeling. Good job! |

Cherry was a pretty extraordinary soprano before she lost her voice. When it happened, she didn’t speak (or sing) for a full year. After the “cure” her voice returned but she never regained her range; in fact her voice register lowered and now she sounds more like Marianne Faithful or a female Tom Waits.

Cherry’s potential has gone into a new arena - having her previous voice radically altered has still not altered her intense lyrics or her unique world-view. Great work, Mr. Sockhead - mysterious and alluring - just like Miss Gollogoly!

Thank you Mr. Mejans… Cc Mixter has given me the opportunity to overcome my fear of using my voice in different ways, and allowing me the space to experiment with different effects as my voice grows stronger…. thank you CC….

What a congruent intensity between the track and the vocal — avant/trance. Raises all kinds of questions about what is a voice.
