Like everyone else I loved the cat. I’m really feeling your mix on this. i would have been tempted to add a drum track but your mix hit the nail on the head.

There are actually at least four different cats participating in this track, but their producers (aside from Kirkoid) have all neglected to attribute their names.
Searching for a drum track was how I ended up adding all the cat sfx. I was thinking a shaker would do well, but couldn’t find any shaker samples I liked on ccMixter. So I ended up trekking over to Freesound in search of shaker sounds… (there are good shaker samples on Freesound, I just happened to end up on a fortuitous sidetrack) |

Interestingly enough, I just got back from buying catfood for our three feline family members. You will be pleased to know that Buster, Chloe and and Jack have listened to this numerous times, raptly attentive. And Jack keeps pestering me to play this track again and again (are you sure that’s not Jack in the background?). This is a purr-ty terrific track! Ooops, gotta go turn on the bathroom sink now so Jack can have a drink… he’s so demanding (not unlike Mr. Wombles)..

You’ve done old Wombles proud thank you. I’m sure he’s tapping his paws along to this up in kitty heaven. Love the feline percussion, as did my other cats.
