Very nice singer-songwriter-guitar song. Wished I could have played the shaker with you.

This is truly lovely - the everyman’s song. Sung with a hint of fragility, and a spare acoustic arrangement, it is capturing exactly how I and perhaps a lot of people feel these days. The major 7th chords at the end with the ooh-ahhs are lovely. :)

Thanks for lending us voice and lyric.

The gentle guitar and light percussion have a backyard campfire feel I enjoy. The music and the vocals fit together very well. The mix places itself beautifully in my headphones. I like the melody on the phrase ‘serenity’. This is fine work—simple and convincing. The backing harmony on “I won’t worry about the things that I can’t change” is effective. I hope, over time, that everyone can come to know the difference, too, as the lyric suggests.

But I do just what I can
Though money tumbles out my hands
And time is a currency
That I just don’t see
Anymore

Time is a currency… so very well put. Ditto on all of the above praise. Congrats on the Ed. Pick, too. (If Jeris hadn’t, I woulda.)
