After hearing your vocal on JLang’s remix I knew I had to use these lyrics. Your POV seems to be in every other conversation I have or hear about hip-hop. I wonder how this is going to play out in the industry and how long it will take them to adjust? As much as the airwaves need it, I just can’t see the majors, Clear Channel & the like easing up on the over saturation and *throat shoving* tatics of simplified pop rap music. For everyone of us long in the tooth admirers of “back in the day” hip-hop, theres 50 youngsters who think that this was during the era of Tupac!!!

Like the middle part. This mix has a very original sound, but i cant really decide if i love it or hate it. The more i listen to it the more i like it tho and i really like the space u give the sounds in the mix. When silence feels like an instrument itself a good mix is on the move! Good stuff here. Keep it up.

1)A little distortion in the first verse. 2)I think it could use a little more bottom end. 3)During KCentric’s verse it sounds a little dense/borderline muddy to me. Again, though, its all about motivation to do it:-) |

Damn, you got all James Bond villain on this track, and the planet is a smoking husk…
You sycnhed up all the vocals crazily, (really vibing on the grimy, backbeat flow for my verse)building and layering the background uniquely for each vocalist, serious headnod syndrome. You banged this out, excuse me as I eat my suede Pumas… |

Its all good and I’m glad you dig it. Syncing your vocals wasn’t that hard since it has that 2 bar music intro. I just synced that part and muted it afterwards with a nudge or two to get it as tight as I could. Actually, that format should be the new standard for acapellas. I’m all for taking the guess work out of syncing vocals.
