I like the way the disparate elements of the mix intermingle into a pleasing whole. Drone and melody, beat and whirr, vox and foundation. Quiet thoughts on a rainy day in busy traffic. Listening to your track reminded me of something I experienced in the late 80’s, when I made a bus-trip to Hungary (which was at that time behind the Iron Curtain). Entering Budapest I was listening (on my first cassette-walkman) to The Art of Noise. The strange combination of Budapest (in the 80’s) & The Art of Noise is hard to describe, but I’ll always remember that moment. Listening to ‘Low’ brought back the memory. Can’t tell you why, it just did…
And even if it didn’t: this is a great track ! Good work !
